There's nothing quite like a little church in the country.

It's an absolute pleasure to shoot at wonderful venues around the world, but as a Brit at heart, I'm a sucker for a small church in the sticks. The is West Clandon in Surrey, and the moment the girls have arrived. 

I especially like the way there is low light in the church to show the expectant guests, balanced with the illuminated doorway - the focal point of the shot - showing a beaming bridesmaid and flower girl about to enter.

I look at this and remember a happy day. It also displays everything, to my mind, wedding photography should be: interesting, subtle and with key moments captured...
